FAQs

Do you have any general photography tips?

Yes. Concentrate on getting what you want in the frame, and fill the frame. There is no such thing as a right or wrong photograph, different people will have different favourites. Capturing an image which you like with a poor camera will give more pleasure than capturing an image which you don't like with a good camera. Similarly the more you can avoid cropping and processing, and the closer the final image is to the image as you saw it, the better the result. As an example the purple sunset over Cerro Torre was shot with a Nikkon E8800 rather than an SLR, with no post processing and I think still looks great on a King Size Canvas.
